I’m Petra Blume, a leadership and career transition coach based in Switzerland. I work with C-level and senior female leaders who are navigating change — whether it’s a bold next step, an unexpected career shift, or the desire to lead with more impact and ease.
My Journey
My career has been defined by fearless reinvention. I started as a receptionist in a software company, moved into software consulting, broke into the highly regulated pharma industry, and later made a complete shift from IT into HR leadership. None of these transitions were supported by formal studies — only dedication, curiosity, and the determination to succeed in uncharted territory.
Beyond the professional milestones, I’ve navigated profound personal loss, financial hardship, and relocation to a new country without a network. These experiences deepened my empathy and gave me a first-hand understanding of what resilience really takes.
Where It All Started
In 2015, I began my first coaching training — a transformative experience that revealed how powerfully coaching can support people through profound change. At the time, the loss of a prominent leader in the industry had left many searching for direction, clarity, and hope.
Witnessing that need ignited my determination to help people navigate deep challenges, prevent burnout, and reclaim their purpose. That pivotal moment shaped my commitment to coaching and sparked my first vision: to empower others to move through change stronger, freer, and ready for what’s next.

I combine strategic career guidance, neuroscience-based methods, and the Positive Intelligence® (PQ) framework to strengthen both mindset and performance.
